About Kris Nugent

Dr. Nugent has been published on Social Work and Addiction, Eating Disorders, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Family. Currently she is conducting research in the area of Adoption and Motivational Interviewing for the Christian Athlete. Dr. Nugent holds a social work licensure in Minnesota (LGSW) and Virginia (LCSW). She is a member of CSWE, NASW, AFAA, NACSW, CEDS. Dr. Nugent serves on the editorial board of Journal of Behavior Disorders. Dr. Nugent has presented at NASW, NACSW, and has had multiple TV appearances.
